Motion Graphics by Jeremy Clark

My Background

I attended the Otago Polytechnic School of Art, from which I graduated in 2006 with a chosen major of Painting. Since then I’ve trained more specifically in 3D graphics, gaining a Diploma in 3D animation from Aoraki Polytechnic in 2010.

After finishing study, I initially started working as a 3D graphics artist. My strengths in this field grew to include character and environmental modelling, texture painting and placement, rigging (both FK and IK), and employing dynamics (both particle and nCloth.)

Throughout 2011 I expanded my skill set as a means to integrate my 3D knowledge into other motion graphics projects, no longer working within a single-program environment. Learning several new software packages, I developed skills in video editing, compositing, VFX work, and interactive design. My software skillset now includes (But is not limited to) Maya, Zbrush, After Effects, Mocha, Premiere, and Unity.

My painting "Walk Home". Part of my contribution to the 2006 Otago Polytechnic School of Art "Site" exhibit.
